Recently late one night during the week I needed to buy deli meat to complete my lunch supplies for the next day. It was rather late so the store only had a few registers still open. However, the line to checkout was very long considering the time of night. The woman in front of me asked if I would hold her space in line for a minute. i said sue "Sure" (Thinking this would only be a minute.) That minute turns out to be an odyssey and right before it would be my turn to checkout 10 minutes later she arrives and doesn't even have the decency to apologize for disappearing. The woman in back of me was pissed at how rude she was to me as well as everyone else on line. It turns out the woman who left the line went to the other end of the line to get a soup... Then on top of that she blamed the reason for disappearing so long was for the store not having a top for her soup. She should not have went so far from the line in the first place and passing the blame on to the store is absurd if you ask me, However, I just rolled my eyes and did not think much of it... I made a remark about society.... I guess after working in sales so long I learn to dislike people and sometimes I tend to lower expectations of people. I guess sales will do that to people... (My advice is do not get into sales...) Sorry for the long tangent on sales.
As I am leaving the store the woman that was in back of me in line walks up to the woman that cut back into the line at the registers and told her that she really should apologize to me. I thought it was a really nice that someone had cared about common courtesy in this cruel world. I never did receive an apology as I was leaving the store when I saw that and really did not want a fake apology. If anyone has some interesting caught in line stories at the long register lines of a supermarket I would love to hear them in the comments. Sorry for the long delays in posting to the blog.

Facebook

Okay fine I admit it I am on Facebook a lot more than I should be. I start typing in everyone I know to see if they are on Facebook. Okay I guess I friend a lot more people than I should. I typed in relatives and came across my cousins husband's profile. Somehow I am not surprised that the guy has no pictures of his wife. Okay fine he has a picture of his daughter and a few of himself. Hey look there is even a picture of him posing next to Paris Hilton at some random bar or club. Yes the "real" Paris Hilton. Then there was a comment someone left asking where are pictures of his wife. There you go a classic Facebook story. Yes this is Facebook I am talking about and not MySpace... Although, it sure sounds like a MySpace story. Gee I hope looking at all these profiles do not make me turn into a Facebook Stalker. Speaking of which here is a hilarious youtube about a Facebook Stalker.

I think I saw a mouse...

Okay I know I saw either a mouse or a rat a few minutes ago IN MY HOME. Since where I live is a major city there is a lot more to be alarmed about. They are filthy! They carry all sorts of diseases. I feel sick... How am I going to sleep tonight? I feel like calling a friend tomorrow and asking if I can crash at their place for a few days to sort out this horrible situation.

Secretive Dating in NYC

Ever notice that people are so secretive on who they are dating? What is the big secret?

Something that bugged me today...

I probably could write a novel about all the things that could bug me on one day. However, for some reason this bugged me tremendously.

I was walking home and a garbage truck passed by me. One of the crew members of the garbage truck tossed out an empty Red Bull can. I would want to think the garbage man believed in keeping the streets/sidewalks clean from littering and garbage. I guess not... Society at it's best!

So you wanna be a Real Estate Salesperson?

I have been giving Real Estate a lot of thought lately...

I actually decided overnight last week that it was time to actually do something about it. I enrolled in a Real Estate Salesperson Licensing program and started taking classes the same day. I am enjoying learning all these vocabulary words actually. However, I am told everything I am learning for the exams are useless and the words are all called something else in the real word. So basically it is going to be a long time for this career move to be in full swing. The program I am taking is very popular. The average class size seems to be around 50 students during the daytime. I can only imagine what the night class sizes are like. A few times a day brokers actually come to visit and talk about their organization in hoping of finding new fresh talent to recruit to their agency. I figure I will see how this all works out and if I have a shot at Real Estate.
