Still looking for work...

Last week I went on a few more interviews. They will get back to me if they are interested... So I will keep looking I guess. It is hard finding an organization/company that I think is making an impact to society. I want to find a place that also looks good on a resume. I saw an ad online to work for 1-800-Got-Junk. I wonder how many of their employees put the name of that company on their resume? Do people just say i worked at a startup without naming the company? I am only using the 1-800-Got-Junk as an example since it was the last company I saw on a job listing website. It had a good entry level managerial position but I simply cannot bring myself to terms with working for a company that "Got Junk". Am I alone here? What are your thought?

The insane comments...

Great! Now I am starting to see spam comments on by blog. Tara I think nobody wants to see your website. If anyone wants to do a shout out of their website please feel free to comment on this post. But please make sure your website is at the very least useful to society and not some get rich quick scheme or free iPod and/or iPhone give away. Remember this is your chance to let us all in on something cool.

I will go first and let you know about a cool software program. It is called Joost. It is in beta still though. But you can sign up today via this link https://joost.com/presents/gigaom-newteevee/

Please Note: At time of posting this link it is working. Cannot guarantee it will continue to work.

Wait what is Joost?

I also do not get anything out of posting this information. I just like the idea of the company and hope they succeed. *Hint* In case Joost is listening... I would love to work for you.

And remember no more spam on my comments. Send me creative links to websites offering interesting products and/or services... NOT SPAM!

Health Insurance

It looks like I will finally have Health Insurance again. I will be covered starting October 1st. It apparently is a hassle to get. They want to meet with you and see that you are not a lunatic. The agent discusses the plans and signs you up after an enormous amount of paperwork. Other tan that not much is new here. I was on vacation for the labor day weekend. Yes I was on vacation again. Lately it seems my life is one big vacation. Once I find a new job the party will be all over. For now it isn't over yet!!!
