My Vacation: Lost in the middle of nowhere without a map

Last week I was on vacation. Okay really I was... But you are right it is no excuse not to post since I was only on vacation for a few days and not a month. Sorry once again all. The most memorable experience for me is being lost in the many different ghettos of Philadelphia. We had no idea how to get back to the Bed & Breakfast we were staying. We tried asking for directions at a gas station only to get lost further. It was a nightmare... We must have been driving around for 45 minutes or so lost. I finally decided to try calling 1-800-555-TELL to see if they offer directions. As I remember the service offers movie tickets pay-by-phone, news, sports, weather, and even blackjack. So on the slight chance they offered driving I thought it was worth calling since it is a free call. I had nothing to loose. It was around midnight and I was reaching desperation. Sure enough TellMe gave me driving directions. In order to use them we had to pull over at an intersection and get the driving directions. I had to say the city and state first. Then a few seconds later I had to give the address or intersection. The automated system then asked for the destination in the same fashion. Almost instantly I was given driving directions and was back at the Bed and Breakfast in less than 10 minutes. The directions given to us required a lot of turns on several small streets. Philadelphia's streets are not simply laid out in a grid like pattern. My only gripe about TellMe is they are a Microsoft subsidiary. This is the only thing useful to me from Microsoft in a long time. I also do not believe in data plans on my cellphone so mapquest was out of the question... This service works with a few hiccups and saved the day. Umm night rather.
